OSS - One Sixth Sense - 1/6 Scale One-Of-A-Kind OOAK Designs

OSS miniature accessories are original designs by artist, D.K. Anderson, occasionally in collaboration with fellow artists. The 1/6 scale miniatures are hand-sculpted, hand-assembled, and hand-painted. Molds are rarely if ever used. All polymer clay and painted items are sealed for longevity and are signed & dated when possible. These incredibly detailed 1/6 scale accessories are intended for the adult collector and are not meant for children or rough handling. Polymer clay is not edible.

Exotic Evening

The elephant "tusks", cheesecake slices, strawberries, vase & roses were all individually hand sculpted using polymer clays. The artwork on the table was hand-painted by OSS artist, D.K. Anderson. Original "Elephant at Sunset" by Marita Lipke.

Each chair backrest is slightly different, hand painted, signed, and sealed. The tabletop is also hand-painted with varying scenes which can be enjoyed from any angle. Pedestal bases on table and chairs were individually hand-sculpted and detailed. No two are alike. The accompanying miniatures for this One Of A Kind set include a bowl of apples, gold rimmed plates, a cookie jar, a lattice-top pie with server, and ball candles on a black and white checked scoop platter.

This Asian Dining set by OSS artist, D.K. Anderson featured a "black lacquer" table with original Anthurium artwork and a pair of straight backed chairs with bright red & tassled seat cushions of polymer clay. Hand-sculpted miniatures included a teapot and cups, sushi platter, floral centerpiece with candles, and sushi servings for two with steamed rice, pickled ginger, wasabi, and chopsticks!

"Vanity, Thy Name is Woman."

The creative possibilities with polymer clay are endless. OSS occasionally creates 1/6 scale vanity sets for the Diminutive Divas we serve and pamper. The OOAK Egyptian Vanity Set was donated to the 2006 National Barbie Doll Collectors Convention held in Los Angeles. The set was raffled off for charity. The Asian Vanity Set was an OSS commission.

Asian Bedroom Decor

OSS

This Asian Decor set by OSS artist, D.K. Anderson, featured a striking color scheme and hand-painted, tri-fold screen in a lovely One Of A Kind lotus motif. Set also included toss pillows with tassels and piping, soft throw/coverlet, and miniatures created without the use of molds.

Miniatures included a floral arrangement of red anthuriums, clock, tissue box, and a platter of sushi and caviar! What luxury!
